Fashion Returns to The Altman Building for NYFW Spring/Summer 2025: 8 Shows, 12 Designers in 3 Days!

Updated: Oct 16

A few years ago, in the aftermath of a global pandemic, we found ourselves questioning the future of New York Fashion Week. With articles declaring fashion as a relic of the past, it seemed that the industry was on the brink of transformation. Yet, we found partners eager to challenge this narrative and breathe new life into the fashion world.

In 2022, we joined forces with the visionary PR maven Kelly Cutrone, creator of People’s Revolution, to produce an extraordinary fashion show for Deviate Fashion. Since then, our collaboration with Kelly has blossomed into a dynamic partnership. Determined to revive the essence and grandeur of fashion shows, Kelly and her team have stepped in to fill the void left by Bryant Park Fashion Week’s departure. For those who admired Kelly Cutrone in the early 2000s, whether through her appearances on The Hills, The City, or her own show, Kell on Earth, and later as a judge on America’s Next Top Model, this revival is a testament to her enduring influence. Last year, Kelly partnered with the notorious Anna Delvey for an illegal rooftop fashion show for Shao New York, culminating in the creation of The OutLaw Agency. Together, Kelly and Anna are redefining the PR game.

This past Fashion Week was nothing short of magical. Over three whirlwind days, we proudly hosted 13 diverse designers, a feat made possible by the dedicated efforts of our partners at F/Row, SV Productions, People’s Revolution, The OutLaw Agency, and their esteemed sponsors, including Voss Water, MAC Cosmetics, Philippine Airlines, Hey Tea, The Barker Company Espresso Martinis, and PornHub. Anna Delvey made her runway debut and is now set to take the ballroom stage on Dancing with the Stars. The week closed with Anna Delvey and Shao New York delivering the final runway show of NYFW SS25. The Altman Building, a venue steeped in fashion history, has been rightfully celebrated across articles, Instagram posts, and social media platforms.

Our iconic venue, once the carriage house of the prestigious B.Altman & Co., embodies the rich legacy of New York’s fashion heritage. B.Altman & Co. was a beacon of luxury and innovation in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, nestled in what was known as ‘Fashion Row’ on 6th Avenue. We are thrilled that our venue’s historical elegance provided the perfect canvas for these designers’ audacious and imaginative creations, harmoniously merging the past with the present.

Before we conclude this exhilarating week, we must extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible team at Prosho for their impeccable work with sound, lighting, and the runway, and to Sheehan & Sons Security for their unwavering support. This journey has been a whirlwind of excitement, and we are immensely grateful for the exceptional team that made it all possible in this vibrant and ever-evolving industry.
